Karisma Kapoor<\/a> is one of the most prolific Bollywood actresses from the 90s. The elder sister of Kareena Kapoor Khan rose to prominence with box office hits such as\u00a0Jigar<\/em><\/strong>, Raja Babu<\/em><\/strong>,\u00a0Coolie No. 1<\/em><\/strong>,\u00a0Jeet, <\/em><\/strong>and\u00a0Dil To Pagal Hai\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>to name a few. The latter won her the ‘Best Actress’ award at the Filmfare Awards.<\/p>\n

The actress left the industry and made her young sister Kareen Kapoor Khan her successor. Kareena went on to become a superstar of the Bollywood industry while Karisma settled down. Karisma was set to marry another Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan, but we all how that turned out. In 2003, she married an Indian businessman Sanjay Kapur. The couple are parents to two children, Samaira and Kiaan Raj Kapoor.<\/p>\n
