As Mahira Khan made a comeback on the small screen with Hum Kahan Kay Sachay Thay<\/em><\/strong> after over half a decade, everyone kept asking what the actress is up to. Film projects. But where are those films she’s been working on?<\/p>\n

Fate would have it that several Mahira Khan films that were slated for release as far back as 2019 still haven’t hit theaters. According to the Bin Roye <\/i><\/b>actress, she’s cursed.<\/p>\n

She was last seen on the silver screen in the 2019 movie Superstar<\/em><\/strong>. However, The Legend of Maula Jatt was long scheduled for release at that point. Given all the legal trouble around the movie, it still hasn’t made it into theaters.<\/p>\n\t\t

Then there are all her post-COVID projects. From Neelofar<\/em><\/strong> to Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad<\/em><\/strong> there’s no real update on a release date.<\/p>\n

In an interview with BBC Asian Network<\/a>, the Humsafar<\/em><\/strong> breakout star said that she feels she\u2019s ‘cursed’ when it comes to her big-screen projects.<\/p>\n

\u201cI swear, I\u2019m cursed. I feel like every film I\u2019m doing is going into the Bermuda Traingle\u2026 I\u2019m just like, where are they? … Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay was one of those things where I was like, I\u2019m just gonna go back to work, because films weren\u2019t happening. But, you\u2019re right, I\u2019m actually craving, like I told you, I want to see all of us on the big screen again. So, Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad releases on Bakra Eid, so next Eid. And, Neelofar, you\u2019ll have to ask Mr [Fawad] Khan, he\u2019s the producer. And Maula Jatt, let\u2019s not even go there.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n
