Upcoming superhero series\u00a0Ms. Marvel\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>will feature the Pakistani song “Peechay Hutt”\u00a0<\/em>by Hasan Raheem and Justin Bibis as an official soundtrack.<\/p>\n

Ms. Marvel<\/em><\/strong> has been much demanded and anticipated due to the fact that the protagonist is a Pakistani-American and a Muslim. Seeing a brown teenager and Muslim superhero onscreen is something many Muslim Americans and desi Americans are looking forward to.<\/p>\n

The show is building hype leading up to its premiere this June. With the official trailer already out, Pakistani fans are still itching to see glimpses of Fawad Khan or any pop culture references that only our\u00a0awaam\u00a0<\/em>can relate to. Fortunately, we got a juicy scoop that a very popular\u00a0Coke Studio\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>season 14 track is an official soundtrack for\u00a0Ms. Marvel<\/em><\/strong>!<\/p>\n

That’s right! Journalist Haroon Rashid got early access to watch the first couple episodes of Ms. Marvel<\/em><\/strong>. The BBC journalist is loving the show and its South Asian representation.\u00a0He mentions that Hasan Raheem’s “Peechay Hutt”\u00a0<\/em>featuring the Justin\u00a0Bibis\u00a0<\/em>plays in the background, confirming the\u00a0Coke Studio\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>song’s inclusion in the series soundtrack. Truly a proud moment for Pakistan.<\/p>\n
