Fans of hit drama serial\u00a0Parizaad\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>are glad that the producers did not pick veteran actor Faysal Qureshi for the titular role.<\/p>\n

In a recent conversation on Junaid Akram’s podcast<\/a>, Faysal Qureshi mentioned drama serial Parizaad<\/em> <\/strong>being a trendsetter. Going on to admit how he wanted to bag the titular role but couldn’t.<\/p>\n

At this point, the name Ahmed Ali Akbar is synonymous with Parizaad<\/em><\/strong>. The actor really knocked it out of the ballpark with his performance in the drama serial. However, someone else also had their sights set on the role. While we can’t imagine any other artists playing the titular character in Parizaad<\/em><\/strong>, Faysal Quraishi wanted that role.<\/p>\n

“I really wanted to do that script but I was rejected, people said that it is a flop, don\u2019t go for it,” the\u00a0Dil-e-Momin\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>star told Junaid Akram. “The writer also got upset with me but I said to him as people warned me that it won\u2019t work.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Well, it turns out that\u00a0Parizaad\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>became a nationwide hit and people are glad Faysal Qureshi was not picked. As soon as the veteran actor made his statement on Junaid Akram’s podcast, netizen took to our comment section to troll the Dil-e-Momin\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>star.<\/p>\n
