HUM TV\u2019s Nehar created a buzz all over the internet with its mainstream content which is often ignored in our society. Along with amazing content, it had a stellar cast who did justice to their role and brought the topic of Dowry into perspective. Aside from Saboor and Shafaat Ali, the cast includes Usama Tahir, Areeba Habib<\/a>, Saima Qureshi, Farhan Ally Agha, Rabia Naureen, and Munazzah Arif.<\/p>\n

The drama revolved around one of our society\u2019s major issues \u2013 Jahez (Dowry). The drama showcases how such a deep-rooted tradition has an impact on the dynamics of a family. Saboor did a role of a girl going through atrocity and being tortured to death. The story sheds light on the curse of dowry that has ruined millions of relationships, with women on the receiving end of all types of torture.<\/p>\n
