Looks like Pakistani cinema is really growing as a Baloch language film Doda <\/em><\/strong>just hit the theatres! Indeed, it is Pakistan’s first Balochi-language movie.<\/p>\n

The film had two screenings on its opening day in theatres on Sunday. Starring Shoaib Hassan in the lead role, the movie follows a former boxer from a tiny village.<\/p>\n\t\t

We see the central character of the story on his journey to overcome, his past, and right the wrongs.<\/p>\n

Adil Bizanjo is the film’s director that was filmed in the Lyari and Gadani areas of Karachi.<\/p>\n

Doda<\/em><\/strong> release date was initially planned for\u00a0 April 10, 2020. However, much like all other movies slated for release in 2020, it was postponed due to COVID-19 restrictions.<\/p>\n\n
