Mathira was the sole breadwinner of her house back then and the calls for her ban were distressing. She revealed that Salman Taseer helped her in those times.<\/p>\n<p>Mathira started her career in Pakistan at a very young age. She did not even know the language at the time given how she grew up in Zimbabwe. That&#8217;s how she was able to keep her job.<\/p>\n<p>The late Salman Taseer is a memorable figure in Pakistani politics. You can agree or disagree with his policies but he left a legacy. He was murdered back in 2011 and left behind several businesses as well as a precedent to always question things and opt for tolerance behind.
