Pakistani actors appear to be on a roll with getting global recognition and winning international awards this year, and the crime fiction drama Qatil Haseenaon Ke Naam <\/em><\/strong>\u2014 <\/em>a Zee5 web series featuring some of Pakistan\u2019s best female actors \u2014 just bagged the award for Best Single Drama\/ Anthology at the Asian Academy Creative Awards<\/p>\n

Directed by British-Indian director Meenu Gaur and written by Farjad Nabi, the series stars Sarwat Gilani, Sanam Saeed, Eman Suleman, Mehar Bano, Faiza Gillani, Beo Raana Zafar, and Samiya Mumtaz.<\/p>\n

About the Series<\/h3>\n

Qatil Haseenaon Ke Naam <\/strong><\/em>premiered on 10 December last year. The web series is a desi\u00a0<\/em>noir anthology that revolves around ‘seven fierce women’ who redefine ‘femme fatale’ with their grit and determination to avenge deceit.<\/p>\n

It explores themes of revenge, ambition, love, and revolution.<\/p>\n
