Most fans had given up on the idea, but not Dwayne Johnson. According to the\u00a0<strong><em>Black Adam\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>star&#8217;s tweet, it took years to bring the actor back.<\/p>\n<p>Interesting fact: Dwayne Johnson was originally slated to appear as Black Adam in 2016&#8217;s <strong><em>Suicide Squad<\/em><\/strong>.
