Bilal Lashari’s The Legend of Maula Jatt, <\/em><\/strong>has outdone Akshay Kumar’s Ram Setu <\/em><\/strong>and the Ajay Devgn-Sidharth Malhotra-starrer, Thank God, <\/em><\/strong>at the overseas box office.<\/p>\n

The two Bollywood films that were released worldwide simultaneously on 25 October have fallen short of the Lollywood underdog in their opening week.<\/p>\n

According to social media reports, The Legend of Maula Jatt <\/em><\/strong>managed to rake in over $46,825 in the UK from 56 screens on its 13th<\/sup> day in cinemas. On the other hand, both the Bollywood films barely managed to draw the same amount on their opening day. In fact, Thank God <\/em><\/strong>earned merely $19,472 from 83 screens while Akshay Kumar’s Ram Setu <\/em><\/strong>made $16,595 from 95 screens.<\/p>\n

Much like Tuesday’s eclipse<\/a>, The Legend of Maula Jatt <\/em><\/strong>overshadowed the two Bollywood films in North America as well. The Fawad Khan-Hamza Ali Abbasi-starrer drew in a staggering $56,586 from 90 screens while Ram Setu <\/em><\/strong>made $48,330, and Thank God <\/em><\/strong>earned $40,358 from a whopping 354 and 228 screens respectively.<\/p>\n
