Popular stage actor and comedian, Tariq Teddy, passed away at the age of 46 in Lahore just days after he was moved to a ventilator following a prolonged illness. The Mirch Masala <\/em><\/strong>actor is survived by his widow and three children \u2014 a son, Junaid, and two daughters, Safa and Marwa.<\/p>\n

According to reports, the late comedian was under observation at the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute (PKL) in Lahore. His doctors revealed that he had been suffering from liver-related health issues which had worsened over time and led to his death.<\/p>\n

Known as the ‘King of Laughter’, Tariq Teddy had a knack for taking on clever roles in various Punjabi films.<\/p>\n

Born in Faisalabad in 1976, he began his career as a performer in the late 1990s. Some of his most successful stage dramas include Ji Karda<\/strong><\/em>, Do Rangeley<\/strong><\/em>, Beatho Beatho Liya Dala<\/strong><\/em>, Asli Tay Naqli<\/strong><\/em>, Jhoot Bolda<\/strong><\/em>, Mirch Masala<\/strong><\/em>, Ghoonghat Utha Loon<\/strong><\/em>, and Eid Da Chan<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

Tariq Teddy is fondly remembered for his contributions to the arts and theater industry with plays like Mama Pakistan\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>and\u00a0Abhi to Main Jawan Hun<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n
