The design of public art is sometimes off-putting because it\u2019s not only unattractive but also downright perplexing.<\/p>\n<p>A few months ago a statue of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah has been installed in Bahria Town Lahore. A huge figure of the founding father, while sitting on a sofa seat has been placed in the society, which looked more like a vampire than the founder of Pakistan.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-389394\" src=\"https:\/\/propakistani.pk\/lens\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/quaid-e-azam-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"642\" height=\"453\" srcset=\"https:\/\/propakistani.pk\/lens\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/quaid-e-azam-1.jpg 642w, https:\/\/propakistani.pk\/lens\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/quaid-e-azam-1-300x212.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 642px) 100vw, 642px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Last year in February large sculpture of national poet Allama Mohammad Iqbal installed at a Lahore park has drawn humor and disrespect from netizens, and calls for the authorities to remove it.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-389396\" src=\"https:\/\/propakistani.pk\/lens\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/332930_5186694_updates.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/propakistani.pk\/lens\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/332930_5186694_updates.jpg 700w, https:\/\/propakistani.pk\/lens\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/332930_5186694_updates-300x171.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>However, it turns out that the sculpture was made in good faith by well-meaning people.<\/p>\n<p>A local media report said that the statue was not the creation of a professional artist but an amateur tribute by the park&#8217;s gardeners to the national poet.
