Singer-turned-actor, Hadiqa Kiani called out a ‘fan’, on Wednesday, for impersonating her on Twitter.<\/p>\n

The Boohay Barian <\/em>singer requested her fans and followers to report a fake social media account that was sharing ‘horrific’ pictures of children by using her name.<\/p>\n

“Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery” but not in this case as artist and philanthropist, Hadiqa Kiani fell prey to online impersonation.<\/p>\n

Hadiqa Kiani reported a fake Twitter account on her Instagram story. She clarified that all of her social media handles are verified with a blue tick mark, and told her fans,<\/p>\n

Someone using the name @HadiqaKiani0 is impersonating me on Twitter. Please report.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Kiani went on add that she usually doesn’t mind fans impersonating her online, but this particular individual went to far.<\/p>\n

“Normally I’m not even bothered after being impersonated countless times, but this person is posting horrific photos of children using my name! What motivates people to go to such lengths is impossible for me to understand,” she wrote. The fraud Twitter account has since been suspended.<\/p>\n
