the Defamation Ordinance 2002, claiming that she had caused \u201ctremendous injury\u201d to his \u201creputation, goodwill, and livelihood\u201d through \u201cfalse, slanderous and defamatory\u201d originally filed a $50 million defamation claim against Heard in March 2019 after she published an article in the <em>Washington Post,<\/em> in which she described herself as a \u201cpublic figure defamation, awarding him $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages.
