The International Cricket Council (ICC) recognized Babar Azam\u2019s outstanding performances last year as they named him ‘Best ODI Cricketer of 2022’. The Lahore-born cricketer became the first Pakistani player to win the ODI Cricketer of the Year award two years in a row.<\/p>\n

The Pakistani batsman was also awarded the Sir Garfield Sobers Best Cricketer of the Year and was not only named the ICC Men\u2019s ODI Team of the Year captain, but also a part of the ICC Men\u2019s Test Team of the Year.<\/p>\n

Pakistan all-format captain, Babar officially received his ICC Awards from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman, Najam Sethi, on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
