A\u00a0Grade 12 student in Bihar’s Nalanda district fell unconscious in the examination hall on Wednesday after discovering himself to be the lone male among 500 female candidates.<\/p>\n

The student was identified as Manish Shankar Prasad, 17, who went to the Brilliant Convent School Sundargarh to sit for the mathematics examination.<\/p>\n\t\t

According to his relatives, he was the sole male student at the institution. He got anxious when he noticed a huge number of female students and slumped on the floor.<\/p>\n

The school administration stepped in to help, admitting him to the Sadar Hospital for treatment. He recovered consciousness after a few hours, according to his father, Sacchidanand Prasad.<\/p>\n\t\t

Another family criticized the Bihar Intermediate Council for allocating him to the female-only examination center.<\/p>\n

The student, Manish Shankar’s aunt said,<\/p>\n

There were more than 500 girl students in the examination centre. The school administration had given the seat to my nephew in the main hall of the school surrounded by a large number of girls. Manish failed to handle the situation after he saw a large number of girls and fell unconscious.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\t\t
