The news of Shoaib Akhtar<\/em> joining forces with the OTT platform created a lot of buzz and excitement among his fans.<\/p>\n

However, in a surprising turn of events, Shoaib Akhtar<\/em> backed out of the deal, leaving many of his fans and the platform in confusion.<\/p>\n\t\t

According to sources, Shoaib Akhtar<\/em> had signed a multi-million dollar deal with Urduflix<\/strong><\/em>, which was set to bring the cricketer’s larger-than-life persona and expert cricket analysis to the platform.<\/p>\n

The deal was expected to be a game-changer for Urduflix<\/strong><\/em>, which was looking to establish itself as a leader in the OTT space in Pakistan.<\/p>\n\t\t

He is not the first cricketer to strike a deal with UrduFlix<\/strong><\/em>, since former captain Shoaib Malik<\/em> previously had a programme on the OTT platform with his wife, Indian tennis star Sania Mirza<\/em>.<\/p>\n

However, just a few days after the signing of the deal, Shoaib Akhtar backed out, citing personal reasons for his decision.<\/p>\n

The cricketer released a statement saying that he had decided to put his family and personal life first and that he could not commit to the demands of the OTT platform at this time.<\/p>\n\t\t
