Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy is an Oscar and Emmy-winning director known for documentaries such as Saving Face<\/em><\/strong> and A Girl in the River, The Price of Forgiveness<\/em><\/strong>. She is currently involved in directing Paramount\u2019s adaptation of the novel Brilliance<\/em><\/strong>, produced by Will Smith.<\/p>\n

Obaid-Chinoy recently directed a show for Disney’s Ms. Marvel<\/em><\/strong> which is a short series with a Pakistani girl as the lead.
