The Sindh High Court Bar Association (SHCBA) hosted a\u00a0mujra\u00a0<\/em>within the premises of the High Court in Karachi on Thursday.<\/p>\n

The SHCBA collaborated with the Legal Eagles Lawyer\u2019s Movement and the Lawyers Entertainment Club to present a “Sufi and cultural music event” at the courthouse’s new Bar Room. President of SHCBA, Saleem Mangrio, has now taken notice and issued a statement on the matter.<\/p>\n

What transpired within Pakistan’s “hall of justice” was a bunch of judges and lawyers enjoying a cultural dance by a not-so-modestly dressed woman to such kalaams\u00a0<\/em>like Sunny Leone’s\u00a0“Laila Main Laila”\u00a0<\/em>while Quaid-e-Azam’s portrait contemplates in the background.<\/p>\n\t\t

In a shocking incident that has left netizens outraged, Pakistani lawyers and judges were seen enjoying mujra<\/em> within the premises of the Sindh High Court as part of a cultural music event. Litigation lawyer, Abdul Moiz Jaferii shared a clip from the event that quickly went viral on social media.<\/p>\n

President of the Sindh High Court Bar Association, Saleem Mangrio, has taken notice of the incident and has issued a statement condemning the inappropriate behavior.<\/p>\n
