Actor Feroze Khan shared the legal documentation of the defamation lawsuit he sent out to Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. He called out Sharmeen to “step up and prove” the “frivolous and defamatory allegations” she leveled against him.<\/p>\n

The Oscar-winning filmmaker is summoned to the court for a hearing scheduled to take place next month on 4 April 2023.<\/p>\n

The Habs <\/em><\/strong>star has been relentless in his pursuit against Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy after she allegedly launched a “smear” campaign against him in the wake of the domestic violence allegation raised by his ex-wife Syeda Aliza Sultan.<\/p>\n\t\t

Feroze Khan shared the legal notice on his Instagram with a scathing note aimed at Sharmeen. He wrote,<\/p>\n

It\u2019s time for you to step up and prove your frivolous and defamatory allegations which you had levelled without making any enquiry whatsoever. The Hon\u2019ble sessions court of district south Karachi has summoned you to appear and submit your response. let\u2019s hope you do your homework properly this time. InshaAllah the truth will prevail. One who levels allegations without any proof is doomed in this world and so also in the world hereafter.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Prior to the notice, Feroze Khan wrote to Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy on 16 January, demanding a written apology from the Oscar-winning director, which she rejected the very next day.<\/p>\n

The actor’s legal team then issued a notice to her on 9th February, demanding a written apology or a payment of Rs. 70 million in damages.<\/p>\n

According to the notice, Sharmeen’s Twitter account tweeted about Feroze Khan being involved in domestic violence. This severely damaged Khan’s credibility and cost him his money.<\/p>\n
