Netizens are furious with PML-N Senator Afnan Ullah Khan for his rude remarks towards actor Mahira Khan and Anwar Maqsood.<\/p>\n

The renowned satirist had an interesting interview with the\u00a0Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>star during An Evening With Mahira Khan<\/em><\/strong> event at the Arts Council of Karachi on Sunday. Anwar Maqsood and Mahira’s comments about Maryam Nawaz and Marriyum Aurangzeb went viral on social media.<\/p>\n

The clip did not sit well with the PML-N senator who decided to label Mahira as someone with “mental” issues, and Anwaq Maqsood as a drunkard. The tweet sparked outrage as Twitterati and celebrities expressed their displeasure over the remarks.<\/p>\n\t\t

During An Evening With Mahira Khan<\/em><\/strong>, host Anwar Maqsood and Mahira spoke about women fighting, yelling, and “giving each other poison”.<\/p>\n

\u201cTwo women, Maryam Nawaz, and Marriyum Aurangzeb,\u201d Maqsood started as the audience burst into laughter and cheers. He went on to say, \u201cI am not allowed to talk about politics. The situation is such. It\u2019s going to get better very soon,\u201d he said. \u201cPoisoning etc. happens in real life not just in dramas. Both are actors, not character actors,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n

The Anwar Maqsood session with Mahira Khan is a cross-over no one asked for. Mahira ended up exposing her lack of sharp takes on society\/politics, and AM retorted to ordinary jokes and phakkar pan. Damaging for both of their commendable legacies. Arts Council should do better<\/p>\n
