Indian actress and model, Priyanka Chopra finally revealed why she left the Bollywood industry during an interview on Dax Shepard’s podcast.<\/p>\n

It has been ages since we’ve seen Priyanka star in a Bollywood blockbuster, and it doesn’t look like she’ll be working in one anytime soon. The ex-Bollywood star spilled the beans on her falling out with the Indian film industry in Dax Shepard’s popular podcast Armchair Expert<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Priyanka Chopra got candid in the interview, explaining that she feels more “safe”, and is now ready to open up about her “unfair” treatment in Bollywood.<\/p>\n\t\t

The former Bollywood actress had this to say,<\/p>\n

I was being pushed into a corner in the (Hindi film) industry. I had people not casting me for reasons, I had beef with people, I am not good at playing that game so I kind of was tired of the politics and I said I needed a break.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

She added, “I was having trouble back home anyway with being cast in the kind of movies I didn’t want to be cast in”.<\/p>\n

Priyanka Chopra accused the industry for “not casting” her in big projects due to “politics” and “beef with people” in the film industry. Fellow actress, Kangana Ranaut sided with the Barfi<\/strong> star, blaming Karan Johar for blacklisting Priyanka in Bollywood.<\/p>\n

Netizens, however, aren’t buying Priyanka Chopra’s excuses, calling out the actress for “playing the victim card” to get more attention in “woke” Hollywood.<\/p>\n
