<\/a>Ushna took to her Instagram to share a lengthy note to rant about the public’s negative perception towards her. She stated that she “stood up in solidarity with a woman who lost her father, a friend taken into custody unjustly, and urged people not to abuse an ex-colleague [Feroze Khan] who allegedly wronged a woman.”<\/p>\n
She urged people not to go to extreme ends to condemn people on social media. Ushna recalled how she received backlash at her wedding for wearing an Indian style\u00a0lehenga\u00a0<\/em>as a prime example.<\/p>\n Not one to back down, Ushna stated,<\/p>\n What I stand for is as per my own conscience. I’m allowed my own introspection, even if it faces backlash. I don’t have to adhere to the extreme right or left. I won’t apologize for it.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n It is to be noted, Ushna Shah came under criticism recently after she shared a picture of herself with Feroze Khan, quoting a Hadith<\/em> by the Holy Prophet (PBUH) about forgiveness. She also shared a picture of the late Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain with a similar message.<\/p>\n Ushna Shah is a\u00a0 popular actress who comes from a family of well-known stars.
