The Swedish Sex Federation (SSF), which apparently is a legitimate organizing body behind this championship, claims to have been operating since 2016. While skeptics may raise their eyebrows, the SSF firmly believes in the physical and mental benefits that can be derived from the activity.<\/p>\n

The competition, which is set to take place near Gothenburg, promises a “grueling” schedule for participants. Each day, for several weeks, contestants will engage in six-hour-long sessions. While the idea of a sex championship may raise eyebrows, the SSF emphasizes that its main motive is to challenge the traditional power dynamics between men and women. They believe that sex when approached with respect and consent, can promote equality and well-being.<\/p>\n\t\t
