One Direction musician, Zayn Malik, and Netflix super hit series Bridgeton<\/em><\/strong> star, Simon Ashley, have joined hands to star in the animated film 10 Lives<\/em><\/strong>. The much-awaited film is directed by Duck Duck Goose\u2019s<\/em><\/strong> Chris Jenkins and produced by Guy Collins and Sean Feeney for 10 Lives Productions Ltd.<\/p>\n

The movie 10 Lives<\/em><\/strong> is about a pampered and selfish cat who takes the lives that he has been given for granted. After carelessly losing his ninth life, he begs to be given a second chance, an opportunity to show he can learn from his mistakes. Eventually, his wish is granted, but with certain, hilarious conditions.<\/p>\n

According to the Deadline, Taost Entertainment, a London-based media production startup, has picked up Chinese distribution rights to the star-studded animated feature 10 Lives<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It will be Zayn Malik\u2019s first on-screen presence as he branches out his talents following three solo albums since he left One Direction in 2015. He isn\u2019t the only one from the former boyband to try his hand at acting, Harry Styles made his acting debut in 2017 with the role of a British soldier during World War II in the film Dunkirk<\/em><\/strong> and he\u2019s been seen in various movies ever since.<\/p>\n

While 10 Lives<\/em><\/strong> is still in work, fans can anticipate seeing Ashley on their screens soon as she reprises her role as Kate Sharma in the highly popular Netflix series Bridgerton<\/em><\/strong>. Back in March, Ashley told Teen Vogue that Season 3 continues Kate and Anthony Bridgerton’s (Jonathan Bailey) love story and will show what life is like for \u201cpost-marriage Kanthony.\u201d<\/p>\n

This exciting news of the upcoming animated film has fans eagerly awaiting this project, alongside the chance to see Ashley and Malik shine in their respective roles.<\/p>\n
