The versatile and prolific actor, Treat Williams best known for playing Dr. Andy Brown on Greg Berlanti\u2019s Everwood<\/em><\/strong>, died on 12 June. Williams was killed in a motorcycle accident in Dorset, VT. He was 71 years old.<\/p>\n

The actor’s death was confirmed on Monday evening by his agent of 15 years, Barry McPherson.<\/p>\n

McPherson says,<\/p>\n

He was killed this afternoon. He was making a left or a right [and] a car cut him off. I’m just devastated. He was the nicest guy. He was so talented.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Jacob Gribble, the fire chief for Dorset, Vermont, told media that the crash happened on Monday around 5 p.m. on Route 30 by Long Trail Auto near Dorset, Vermont. The incident involved a single car and Williams’ motorcycle. Investigators believe the driver of the car was turning and didn\u2019t see the motorcycle. Gribble says the motorcyclist was the only person hurt and a LifeNet helicopter was summoned to airlift him to a hospital in New York.<\/p>\n
