Actress Nadia Afgan expressed her disgust over trending misogynistic dramas shown on TV these days, specifically calling out Danish Taimoor and Dur-e-Fishan’s\u00a0Kaisi Teri Khudgarzi<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Expressing her disapproval of toxic storytelling, Nadia Afgan highlighted the romanticization of domestic abuse and stalking shown in the hit drama serial.<\/p>\n

During an interview with Ayesha Jahanzeb for A Plus Entertainment’s Chocolate Times<\/strong><\/em>, Nadia was asked about which drama she would ban if given the authority. The veteran actress initially hesitated, due to her belief in artistic freedom. However, she made it clear that she would ban all ‘misogynistic shows’.<\/p>\n\t\t

I hate these misogynistic types of dramas. There was a Danish Taimoor one [Kaisi Teri <\/em>Khudgarzi<\/em><\/strong>],\u00a0a very Kabir Singh type of drama. The ones in which they show male figures beating people up and that kind of love. This type of love is bakwas<\/em>!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

She emphasized the need to discontinue the production of dramas that perpetuate violence and unhealthy relationship dynamics.<\/p>\n

“They’re putting this in people’s minds, or kids’ minds, that you should chase after someone or turn up with guns. I would ban any drama like that, it’s wrong,” she added.<\/p>\n
