Actress and model, Iman Aly has spilled the beans on why she quit the blockbuster film Punjab Nahi Jaungi.<\/p>\n

The Humayun Saeed and Mehwish Hayat<\/a> starrer by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar was the biggest Lollywood film in 2017. However, the character of Amal was originally offered to Iman Aly who turned it down due to “creative differences.”<\/p>\n

The former supermodel explained her reasons during a candid interview on The Talk Talk Show. Iman stated that Khalil-ur-Rehman does not know how to write her character and lacked understanding of the female lead.<\/p>\n\t\t

During the interview, Iman revealed that Punjab Nahi Jaungi was initially planned as a play, but she insisted on turning it into a movie. However, when the writer, Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, did not take her feedback into account regarding the portrayal of the lead female character, Amal, she left the project just three days before filming began.<\/p>\n

Contrary to rumors, she clarified that she was not removed from the film. Setting the record straight, Iman Ali asserted that Khalil-ur-Rehman would not dare to remove her from the film. Instead, she took the decision to leave the project herself.<\/p>\n\n
