Commanding a deep, mystical voice, Yashal Shahid<\/a> is carrying forward the baton for female musicians across Pakistan as Spotify\u2019s EQUAL Ambassador for the month of August 2023.<\/p>\n

In line with the monthly tradition of EQUAL Pakistan<\/a>, Yashal<\/a> shines bright on a digital billboard at Times Square, NYC as her track \u201cSajna<\/a>\u201d becomes the featured song on the dedicated EQUAL playlist<\/a> on Spotify for the month.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am in a state of both shock and gratitude,” said Yashal<\/a> while expressing how she felt about being introduced as an EQUAL Pakistan Ambassador. \u201cSpotify is aptly improving the course of our music journey by ensuring recognition and celebration, regardless of the what, who, and where, which will be revolutionary for Pakistani women artists in the coming future\u201d, she added further.<\/p>\n

Yashal\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0 track \u201cSajna<\/a>\u201d was originally released in 2019, marking the official debut of her career. \u201cBharaas<\/a>\u201dan OST sung by Yashal Shahid<\/a> for a famous Pakistani drama serial is amongst her biggest hits.<\/p>\n
