The decision comes amidst a storm of criticism and <a href=\"https:\/\/propakistani.pk\/lens\/2020-motorway-rape-incident-survivor-wants-hadsa-drama-banned\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">public outcry<\/a> over the drama&#8217;s alleged portrayal of the 2020 Motorway rape case.<\/p>\n<p>Barrister Khadija Siddiqi, Advocate High Court, lodged a complaint through Barrister Muhammad Ahmed Pansota, Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan, calling for action under Section 27 of the PEMRA Ordinance 2002.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"zxx\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/P15BF1rddy\">pic.twitter.com\/P15BF1rddy<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Report PEMRA (@reportpemra) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/reportpemra\/status\/1696903539102990786?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 30, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>It said PEMRA had also received numerous complaints from viewers with regard to the plot\/theme of the drama serial on its Twitter Handle.
