Musk shared the details about the upcoming feature through a post on the platform, where he talked about people watching long videos on their smart TV screens.<\/p>\n
He has repeatedly talked about making X into an everything app, and it seems the feature set of the platform will soon have a long list that should appeal to millions. X already supports video\/audio calls for all users, including those using the platform for free.<\/p>\n

According to an unidentified person working at X, the interface of the app will be “identical” to Google’s YouTube television application.<\/p>\n
The person further claimed that Musk was set to compete with YouTube. As per stats, YouTube was the most-watched streaming platform in 2023.<\/p>\n\t\t
Musk didn\u2019t share the exact details of the upcoming service and how it plans to compete with a behemoth like YouTube and whether it will be free-to-all or kept behind the premium version which is likely to limit its reach and viewers. X will likely start offering the feature to its paid users initially and then make it available for everyone.<\/p>\n

Just a few days back, X introduced \u2018Articles\u2019 which is a new way to share long-form written content on the platform. Those who are Premium users and pay for X services can now post articles on the platform with stylized text, embedded images, and videos.<\/p>\n
\u201cArticles is a new way to share long-form written content on X. Publishing Articles is a feature limited to Premium+ subscribers and Verified Organisations. Articles are available globally,\u201d the company said in a statement. In addition to text, articles can include images, videos, GIFs, posts, and links.<\/p>\n
You can also format text with headings, subheadings, bold, italics, strikethrough, indentation, and numerical and bulleted lists. \u201cOnce published, an article can be read and shared by anyone on X according to the audience controls you\u2019ve selected for the article,\u201d said the company.<\/p>\n
