Yes, you read that right. Main Hoon Na 2<\/em> is officially in development, and fans of the original are already buzzing with excitement.<\/p>\n\t\t

According to sources close to the project, the sequel is being developed under Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan\u2019s Red Chillies Entertainment, the same banner that produced the original. \u201cMain Hoon Na<\/em> is the first film produced by Shah Rukh and Gauri under Red Chillies, so it holds a very special place in their hearts,\u201d revealed an insider.<\/p>\n

The source added, \u201cFarah Khan has come up with an idea for Main Hoon Na 2<\/em>, and Shah Rukh has loved the direction she wants to take with the sequel. Farah is currently working on the screenplay with her team of writers, as well as Red Chillies\u2019 in-house team. The project is still in the development stage, but the excitement is palpable.\u201d<\/p>\n

While the idea of Main Hoon Na 2<\/em> has Shah Rukh Khan intrigued, the superstar is reportedly taking a cautious approach. \u201cSRK is clear that he doesn\u2019t want to make a sequel just for the sake of it,\u201d the source explained.<\/p>\n

If Main Hoon Na 2<\/em> comes to fruition, it will mark the fourth collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan, who previously worked together on Main Hoon Na<\/em> (2004), Om Shanti Om<\/em> (2007), and Happy New Year<\/em> (2014).<\/p>\n\t\t

While fans wait for updates on Main Hoon Na 2<\/em>, Shah Rukh Khan has plenty of other projects to keep them excited. The actor is currently gearing up for King<\/em>, a high-octane action film directed by Siddharth Anand, which is slated for a 2026 release.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s also set to reprise his role as the titular spy in Pathaan 2<\/em>, the next installment in Yash Raj Films\u2019 Spy Universe, which is currently in the writing stage.<\/p>\n
