Pakistani fashion brand Maria B has addressed a payment dispute with Turkish-Pakistani influencer<\/a> T\u00fcrkan Atay after she accused the label of withholding payment for a collaborative project in Turkey.<\/p>\n

The statement from Maria B explained that they have worked with hundreds of influencers and creators. \u201cIn our 25 years, we have neither withheld payment nor retracted from our commitments,\u201d the brand stated.<\/p>\n

They admitted a delay in payment to Atay due to a misunderstanding and said they reached out to arrange a meeting to resolve the matter. However, they claimed Atay chose to make a \u201cdefaming reel\u201d instead, escalating the situation.<\/p>\n\t\t

T\u00fcrkan Atay, however, stood firm on her accusations. After posting a video calling out Maria B for not paying her, she commented on various news stories covering the issue. She wrote,<\/p>\n

Guys, I am the influencer they didn\u2019t pay. I have screenshots as well. They tried to arrange a meeting after I shared the video, but it\u2019s not about money anymore\u2014it\u2019s about self-respect.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Atay further alleged that Maria B never responded to her messages, not even once, despite her attempts to reach out.<\/p>\n\n
