The 58-year-old Mexican-American actress continues to mesmerize fans worldwide as she graced the cover of the 2025 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, which is set to hit newsstands on May 17.<\/p>\n

In an interview,\u00a0The House of Gucci <\/em>star shared her surprise and delight at being chosen for the cover. She admitted that, growing up, she never imagined someone with her background and body type would be featured. She said,<\/p>\n

It never crossed my mind that I could be on that cover. Because (the women) didn\u2019t look like me. My body isn\u2019t necessarily the model type. I never thought that was a possibility \u2014 and for it to happen when I\u2019m 58! It\u2019s really shocking.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n

Alongside Hayek Pinault, the magazine features Olympian Jordan Chiles, gymnast and influencer Olivia Dunne, and model Lauren Chan, who is also the founder of a plus-size clothing brand.
