{"id":11442,"date":"2023-02-14T17:32:00","date_gmt":"2023-02-14T12:32:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/propakistani.pk\/proproperty\/?p=11442"},"modified":"2023-02-14T17:32:00","modified_gmt":"2023-02-14T12:32:00","slug":"cda-approves-expansion-of-srinagar-highway-and-jinnah-avenue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/propakistani.pk\/proproperty\/cda-approves-expansion-of-srinagar-highway-and-jinnah-avenue\/","title":{"rendered":"CDA Approves Expansion of Srinagar Highway and Jinnah Avenue"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The city managers have decided to initiate the expansion of a portion of Srinagar Highway, with the construction of an underpass near Serena Chowk and the widening of Jinnah Avenue in the G-9 and F-9 sections.<\/p>\n<p>During a meeting of the Capital Development Authority Development Working Party (CDA-DWP) held at the CDA headquarters, various developmental projects were discussed, and a consultant was approved to prepare a feasibility report and design for the expansion of Srinagar Highway from the 7th Avenue Interchange to Serena Chowk.<\/p>\n<p>The consultant will also construct an underpass to help alleviate traffic congestion in the area, along with the addition of cyclist tracks on either side of the road.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, an amount of Rs8.5 million was approved for the project, and the consultant is expected to complete their work in two months.<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear:both; } <\/style><div style=\"padding-left:1em; padding-right:1em;\"><span class=\"ctaText\">ALSO READ<\/span>&nbsp; <span class=\"postTitle\">'CDA Employees Not Eligible for Govt Houses'<\/span><\/div><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Another project worth Rs482.6 million, i.e. the widening of Jinnah Avenue in the G-9\/F-9 section, was also approved during the meeting.<\/p>\n<p>It has been shared that this project aims to add two more lanes to the road, along with a cyclist track, and is expected to be completed within six months.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the meeting approved consultancy services for the feasibility and engineering design for the construction of a National Bus Terminal to be built in sector I-11, with an approved amount of Rs10 million.<\/p>\n<p>The terminal will be used for a public bus service, and the consultant will conduct a study to connect it with the existing metro bus network, with an expected completion time of two months.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting also approved a PC-I worth Rs52 million for the provision of security gates at various places in the Red Zone.<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear:both;
