KARACHI: An eight-year-old fourth-grade student has been kidnapped from the upmarket area of the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) in Karachi.<\/p>\n
The victim was allegedly abducted from outside his house in DHA Phase-V on Monday.<\/p>\n
As per the details, the victim’s father reported the kidnapping to the police and shared the CCTV footage which showed a car parked outside the house before leaving.<\/p>\n
The police have registered an FIR of the incident under section 364-A of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) and have handed over the case to the Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC).<\/p>\n
Furthermore, the victim’s father denied having any personal enmity with anyone or receiving any ransom calls so far.<\/p>\n
He appealed to the prime minister and chief justice of Pakistan (CJP) to take notice of his son’s alleged abduction.<\/p>\n
It is noteworthy that this incident is almost similar to the high-profile kidnappings of Dua Mangi and Bisma Saleem.<\/p>\n
