However, a weekly bazaar already takes place on Murree Road in Rawalpindi on Fridays, and a major bazaar is held in Taxila on Sundays.<\/p>\n<p>A senior officer of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) stated that the agency was planning to set up a weekly bazaar along the Srinagar Highway, just short of Tarnol.<\/p>\n<p>The officer explained that the CDA has a considerable amount of land on both sides of the highway that could be utilized for the proposed bazaar.
