The name was chosen from a pool of suggestions gathered by a weekly magazine, Qandeel Lahore.<\/p>\n<p>Despite winning a prize of Rs1,000 and receiving a letter promising a plot of land in Islamabad, Qazi Abdur Rehman died without ever receiving the promised plot. He immediately directed the concerned wing to locate Qazi Abdur Rehman&#8217;s family, who live in Arif Walla.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We will allot them a developed and encumbrance-free plot,&#8221; said the chairman of CDA. He also expressed his desire to honor the family of the late teacher at the upcoming Islamabad Literature Festival.<\/p>\n<p>The delay in fulfilling the promise made in 1960 has been a long-standing issue.
