{"id":14748,"date":"2023-04-11T14:39:24","date_gmt":"2023-04-11T09:39:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/propakistani.pk\/proproperty\/?p=14748"},"modified":"2023-04-11T14:39:24","modified_gmt":"2023-04-11T09:39:24","slug":"cda-board-approves-multiple-projects-and-regulations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/propakistani.pk\/proproperty\/cda-board-approves-multiple-projects-and-regulations\/","title":{"rendered":"CDA Board Approves Multiple Projects and Regulations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) Board held its sixth meeting of the year on Monday at the CDA headquarters, chaired by CDA Chairman Noor ul Amin Mengal.<\/p>\n<p>According to sources, the meeting was attended by members of the board where the establishment of the Building and Housing Control Wing was approved.<\/p>\n<p>The Building Housing Control Wing has been given full empowerment to prevent illegal constructions and enforce building by-laws, with 50 teams of field staff consisting of one assistant director and two surveyors.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the Sanitation Directorate and Environment Wing were also strengthened by reviewing their rules and regulations, with the authority to impose fines and punishments.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, the board approved amendments in the ICT Building Control Bylaws Regulation 2002, and building by-laws for construction on IJP and Murree Road were also approved.<\/p>\n<p>The sources also added that the ratio of mauve area to floor area was increased from 3,000 yards to 15,000 yards.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, the floor area ratio for the H series Sector Institutional Building has also been increased, along with educational plots of Zone 2, 4, and 5 of Islamabad.<\/p>\n<p>AGOSH-II Housing Society was also approved, and the concept plan of Islamabad Bus Terminal I-11 is to be presented in two weeks, with work starting within two months.<\/p>\n<p>The board also resumed the work on the cultural complex stalled since 2010, and it was renamed Al-Hamra Islamabad, while the Ladies Club located in Sector G-10 was also renamed Citizen Centre G-10.<\/p>\n<p>Besides, the board also approved the establishment of the Green Fund, where 2% of the total cost of all major projects in Islamabad will be deposited.<\/p>\n<p>CDA Pension Fund and Endowment Fund were also approved, with 5 percent of the income kept in these funds.<\/p>\n<p>According to the spokesperson, the decisions will help regulate and enforce building laws in the city, prevent illegal constructions, and protect the environment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) Board held its sixth meeting of the year on Monday at the CDA headquarters, chaired by CDA Chairman Noor ul Amin Mengal.
