{"id":17048,"date":"2023-06-06T18:06:19","date_gmt":"2023-06-06T13:06:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/propakistani.pk\/proproperty\/?p=17048"},"modified":"2023-06-06T18:06:19","modified_gmt":"2023-06-06T13:06:19","slug":"suspect-in-m-6-sukkur-hyderabad-motorway-corruption-scandal-sentenced-to-jail","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/propakistani.pk\/proproperty\/suspect-in-m-6-sukkur-hyderabad-motorway-corruption-scandal-sentenced-to-jail\/","title":{"rendered":"Suspect in M-6 Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway Corruption Scandal Sentenced to Jail"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KARACHI: An Accountability Court has ordered the imprisonment of Aslam Pirzada, a suspect in the multi-billion M-6 Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway corruption scandal.<\/p>\n<p>The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested Pirzada following the filing of a reference in the corruption case involving a staggering amount of Rs. 2.37 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, 2 other accused individuals, Akhlaq Shah, and Zeeshan Sehto, have been granted further remand of four days and handed over to NAB.<\/p>\n<p>The NAB investigation officer presented a progress report to the court, revealing that a substantial sum of money and benami property belonging to Aslam Pirzada were recovered in Karachi.<\/p>\n<p>The report also highlighted that Rs. 24.76 million rupees were found at Pirzada&#8217;s residence.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, during the investigation, Zeeshan Sehto, Pirzada&#8217;s facilitator, admitted to receiving Rs. 100 million from Akhlaq Shah.<\/p>\n<p>The report further disclosed that Zeeshan Sehto received significant amounts from Akhlaq Shah on Pirzada&#8217;s instructions.
