{"id":17246,"date":"2023-06-12T17:58:50","date_gmt":"2023-06-12T12:58:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/propakistani.pk\/proproperty\/?p=17246"},"modified":"2023-06-12T17:58:50","modified_gmt":"2023-06-12T12:58:50","slug":"fire-at-k-electric-grid-station-causes-power-outage-in-dha","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/propakistani.pk\/proproperty\/fire-at-k-electric-grid-station-causes-power-outage-in-dha\/","title":{"rendered":"Fire at K-Electric Grid Station Causes Power Outage in DHA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KARACHI: A sudden fire at the K-Electric grid station on Khayaban-i-Ittihad caused a power outage in various Defence Housing Authority (DHA) areas.<\/p>\n<p>The residents were alarmed as black smoke billowed from the grid station, indicating a serious incident.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, electricity remained unavailable for several hours in phases V, VI, VII, and VIII.<\/p>\n<p>The affected areas included 26th Street, Seaview and Darakhshan Townships, Khayaban-i-Mujahid, Khayaban-i-Shaheen, Khayaban-i-Muhafiz, Khayaban-i-Muslim, Khayaban-i-Hilal, Khayaban-i-Nishat, Khayaban-i-Rahat, Khayaban-i-Sehar, Khayaban-i-Shujaat, and Khayaban-i-Bukhari.<\/p>\n<p>According to sources, the residents contacted K-Electric to inquire about the situation and were initially informed that it was a minor incident and repair work was underway.<\/p>\n<p>They were given an estimated time of 1 pm for power restoration.
