{"id":18191,"date":"2023-07-24T18:50:32","date_gmt":"2023-07-24T13:50:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/propakistani.pk\/proproperty\/?p=18191"},"modified":"2023-07-24T18:50:32","modified_gmt":"2023-07-24T13:50:32","slug":"mayor-karachi-takes-action-against-270-illegal-water-connections","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/propakistani.pk\/proproperty\/mayor-karachi-takes-action-against-270-illegal-water-connections\/","title":{"rendered":"Mayor Karachi Takes Action Against 270 Illegal Water Connections"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KARACHI: Barrister Murtaza Wahab, the Mayor of Karachi and Chairman of Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation has taken strong action against the issue of illegal water connections in the city.<\/p>\n<p>During an inspection of the 84-inch diameter water line that supplies water to Karachi from Hub Dam, he revealed that there are currently 270 illegal connections in the line.<\/p>\n<p>Out of these, 27 connections have already been disconnected, resulting in the recovery of two million gallons of stolen water.<\/p>\n<p>According to Mayor, the remaining illegal connections will also be disconnected soon.<\/p>\n<p>Every day, ten million gallons of water are supplied to the city from the Hub Dam.
