} <\/style><div style=\"padding-left:1em; padding-right:1em;\"><span class=\"ctaText\">ALSO READ<\/span>&nbsp; <span class=\"postTitle\">'Strict Action Will be Taken Against Real Estate Frauds in Karachi'<\/span><\/div><\/a><\/div>\n<p>In a development that has attracted attention, the Caretaker Local Government Minister, Mubin Jumani, who is himself associated with the construction industry, instructed the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) to conduct a comprehensive survey of illegally constructed buildings in the province, including Karachi.<\/p>\n<p>During a meeting with a delegation from the Association of Builders and Developers (Abad), Minister Jumani conveyed the caretaker government&#8217;s agenda of providing maximum relief to the people.<\/p>\n<p>He also shared plans to regularize illegal buildings through a third-party survey, if they conform to the law and people have settled there.<\/p>\n<p>It is noteworthy that the caretaker minister had previously imposed a temporary ban on new constructions and the approval of building maps and layout plans across the province.<\/p>\n<p>The minister expressed the caretaker government&#8217;s intention to formulate a policy that promotes legal constructions, discourages illegal ones, and generates increased revenue for the government.<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear:both;
