{"id":2929,"date":"2022-09-02T17:11:41","date_gmt":"2022-09-02T12:11:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/propakistani.pk\/proproperty\/?p=2929"},"modified":"2022-09-02T17:11:41","modified_gmt":"2022-09-02T12:11:41","slug":"lda-demands-funds-for-kharak-to-arfa-kareem-tower-signal-free-corridor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/propakistani.pk\/proproperty\/lda-demands-funds-for-kharak-to-arfa-kareem-tower-signal-free-corridor\/","title":{"rendered":"LDA Demands Funds for Kharak to Arfa Kareem Tower Signal-Free Corridor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has demanded PKR 3.25 billion for the development of a signal-free corridor from Kharak Stop Multan Road to Arfa Kareem Tower Ferozepur Road.<\/p>\n<p>According to reports, the LDA requested funding in a letter to the Chief Minister of Punjab Office (CMO) to build a signal-free corridor between Multan Road and Ferozepur Road.<\/p>\n<p>The authority has also requested that the project be added to the list of development projects planned for the fiscal year 2022-23.<\/p>\n<p>According to the project&#8217;s planned design, it will have the following components:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>There will be underpasses and flyovers along the whole length of the project<\/li>\n<li>The authority will construct pedestrian bridges every 800 meters of the project<\/li>\n<li>There will be an underpass at the Karim Block Market that will connect\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/signal-free-molana-shaukat-ali-road-project.html\">Multan Road<\/a>\u00a0with Maulana Shaukat Ali Road that will be used for traffic coming from Katcha Jail Road<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul>\n<li>There will be eight protected U-turns along the whole length of the project.<\/li>\n<li>There will also be an underpass at Shauq Chowk for the traffic coming and going toward Ferozour Road<\/li>\n<li>There will be an underpass at Akbar Chowk for the traffic coming from Burj Lahore towards Multan Road<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has demanded PKR 3.25 billion for the development of a signal-free corridor from Kharak Stop Multan Road to Arfa Kareem Tower Ferozepur Road.
