HYDERABAD: The government has decided to construct Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway on Public-Private Partnership (PPP).<\/p>\n
According to the planning secretary, the project is worth PKR 309 billion.<\/p>\n
Recently, a meeting was held with the senate standing committee for planning, development, and other such initiatives.<\/p>\n
During the meeting, the secretary stated that PKR 8 to 10 billion would be granted by the government while the remaining funds will be provided by the private sector.<\/p>\n\n
Additionally, the committee was briefed about the country\u2019s total development budget of PKR 2,200 billion, out of which PKR 700 billion is the share of the Federal government while the remaining 1,500 billion is the provincial share.<\/p>\n
