Rumor has it that after about one-and-a-half years of launching his fashion brand \u2018MTJ\u2019, Maulana Tariq Jamil is all set to step into a property venture.<\/p>\n

According to news currently doing rounds in the twin cities\u2019 real estate circles, TAB Builders, a Pakistani real estate developer, is collaborating with Maulana Yousaf Jamil, son of Maulana Tariq Jamil, and other investors to develop TAB City<\/a> in Rawalpindi.<\/p>\n

Interestingly, TAB Builders, which is being hailed as a \u2018well-recognized\u2019 property developer, doesn\u2019t have much to its credit yet except for one project \u2018Tab 10<\/a>\u2019 which was launched in October 2020.<\/p>\n

While the developer claims the completion date of Tab 10 to be June 2023, hardly any development can be seen on-site.<\/p>\n

Now, the initial details of TAB City show that the society would be located on GT Road near T-Chowk Rawalpindi, and has grabbed the attention of many dealers operating within RWP\/ISB.<\/p>\n

According to Tab City\u2019s page on Sky Marketing website, the NOC is yet to be issued to the project. However, it\u2019s interesting how the page gives a positive spin to this downside. Have a look below:<\/p>\n

Despite the fact that RDA has restricted unauthorized societies to promote or run any advertising campaigns, the project is still being advertised without the provision of NOC.<\/p>\n

The society claims to hold an area of 15,000 Kanal, while the groundbreaking ceremony is set to be performed by Maulana Tariq Jamil himself on 15th September 2022.<\/p>\n

UPDATE: Maulana Tariq Jamil Denies Involvement<\/h3>\n

In a video message, Maulana Tariq Jamil has denied any involvement in or association with TAB City Rawalpindi.<\/p>\n

“News is being circulated for some days on Facebook and some channels that Maulana Tariq Jamil is making a society in Islamabad.”<\/p>\n

“God has blessed me with plenty of hereditary property. I can\u2019t make societies at this age so the news is fake. Neither I nor my son have any share in the society.”<\/p>\n

If our names are being used, I want to make it clear that if you want to buy a plot there it\u2019s your own wish. But neither mine nor my son\u2019s names should be associated with it,” he stressed.<\/p>\n\n
