LAHORE: Minister for Local Government & Community Development (LGCD), Mian Mahmood-ul-Rashid, has directed the Lahore administration to start the maintenance and development projects in the city.<\/p>\n
He presided over a meeting to discuss the ongoing development projects and urged to start the restoration of roads, street lights, and sewerage systems.<\/p>\n
However, the local government said that development work that does not require a huge budget should be started initially.<\/p>\n
The Minister further added that the local government should ensure qualitative work and monitor the development work themselves.<\/p>\n
