LAHORE: The Punjab government has revealed the merger of Punjab Land Development Company (PLDC) into the Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency.<\/p>\n
A meeting was presided over by Minister Housing Mian Aslam in this regard.<\/p>\n
In the meeting, he shared that the government, in collaboration with PLDC, will build low-cost houses in Punjab.<\/p>\n
He also added that both organizations had the same goal and after the merger, they will perform more efficiently and will be easy to manage.<\/p>\n
The Minister also asked the concerned authorities to come up with a plan for the merger and the department\u2019s business policies.<\/p>\n
It is important to mention that PLDC was established in 2010 and was responsible to maintain low-cost housing programs in the province.<\/p>\n
