Through the planned Phase-III initiative, deserving students would get 100,000 computers over two years.<\/p>\n<p>PC-1 of the Post-Flood 2022 Reconstruction Plan: Resilience, Enhancement and Livelihood Diversification in Balochistan, with a $400 million World Bank-funded budget, was authorized by the ECNEC.<\/p>\n<p>The project entails restoring and rebuilding community infrastructure, including roads, irrigation, drainage, flood protection, and damaged housing units.<\/p>\n<p>The committee also authorized Rs. 44.7 billion in proposals to add carriages to the Indus Highway (N-55).<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear:both; } <\/style><div style=\"padding-left:1em; padding-right:1em;\"><span class=\"ctaText\">ALSO READ<\/span>&nbsp; <span class=\"postTitle\">China Authorizes Rs. 1.6 Billion for Realignment of Karakoram Highway<\/span><\/div><\/a><\/div>\n<p>The project was authorized during the meeting and would be funded entirely by the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at a rationalized and reduced cost of Rs. 17.14bn, without any foreign exchange component, from Warsak Road to Nasir Bagh Road.<\/p>\n<p>The project calls for building a 7.8 km long, six-lane northern portion of the Peshawar Ring road from Warsak Road to Nasir Bagh Road.<\/p>\n<p>Another provincial project for Rs. 18.6 billion, titled &#8220;Construction of Gravity Flow Water Supply Scheme Mansehra,&#8221; was also approved by the ECNEC and would be carried out by the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.<\/p>\n<p>The project&#8217;s goal is to provide Mansehra city with a gravity-flow potable water delivery system that will meet its demands both now and into the year 2040.<\/p>\n<p>The Special Development Initiatives for Backward\/Poor Districts in the nation, which would cost Rs. 40 billion and be split equally between the federal and provincial governments, were also approved.<\/p>\n<p>To provide young Pakistani scholars with the opportunity to pursue higher education at some of the top universities in the world, ECNEC granted Overseas Scholarship for MS\/M.Phil leading to Ph.D. in chosen subjects (Phase-III) for Rs. 22.2bn with a foreign exchange component of Rs. 21.4bn.<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear:both;
