Karachi Kings PSL 2023 Squad

Karachi Kings had a horrible outing in PSL 7 as they were knocked out of the group stages after just one win in their ten matches. They have made wholesale changes to their squad, with last year’s captain, Babar Azam traded in for Haider Ali and Shoaib Malik from Peshawar Zalmi. Kings will be aiming to put in a much better performance in PSL 8 and make it to the playoffs of the competition.

They have re-instated their PSL winning captain, Imad Wasim, as captain for PSL 2023, and have provided him with an exciting T20 squad consisting the likes of Andrew Tye, Imran Tahir, and Australia’s T20 World Cup winning hero, Matthew Wade.

Last year,  Karachi Kings squad lacked balance with no genuine fast bowling options and limited batting firepower. This time around though, the squad looks well-balanced and possesses a lot of quality which makes them one of the darkhorses for the tournament.

Karachi Kings PSL 8 squad is filled with superstars from around the globe. The team includes the likes of Imad Wasim, Qasim Akram, Mohammad Amir and Sharjeel Khan, while they have recruited smartly by adding Matthew Wade, Imran Tahir, Tayyab Tahir and Tabraiz Shamsi to provide much-needed all-round depth to their team.
